Century Energy has been honored with the Innovation Investment Category Award 

at the 2026 New Taipei City Enterprise Classic Awards, recognizing the company’s 

innovative approach and forward-looking investment strategy. The award entry 

centered on the development of the “Twin Tower”, demonstrating Century 

Energy’s commitment to major infrastructure investment and enhancing its 

corporate capabilities, while reflecting its long-term vision of deepening its 

presence in New Taipei City and growing together with the city.

In response to the trend toward increasingly large offshore wind turbines, Century 

Energy began developing the large-scale lifting system“Twin Tower”at Taipei Port 

in 2022. Designed specifically to meet the manufacturing requirements of 

ultra-large jacket foundations for deep-water offshore wind projects, the Twin 

Tower features a fixed tower structure that provides greater lifting stability and 

operational safety compared with conventional mobile cranes. Combined with 

multi-wheel transporters and vertical lifting technology, the system successfully 

extends the assembly of large-scale components from indoor facilities to outdoor 

operations, significantly overcoming existing manufacturing constraints and 

marking an important milestone in Taiwan’s offshore wind subsea foundation 

manufacturing technology.
